The Sweetwater Reservoir is to the southwest and offers equestrian campsites. To the north is Lake Jennings which offers camping for tents or RVs, picnicking, boating, and hiking. This lake has some of the best fishing in the region with 37,000 pounds of channel catfish and trout stocked each year.
Residents are close to many shopping centers like Parkway Plaza, Plaza De Las Palmas Shopping Center, and Broadway Plaza.
